The Central District of Seattle is just that, central. It is surrounded by the Seattle neighborhoods of First Hill, Capitol Hill, Madison Valley, Madrona, and Garfield. The Central District is a very diverse area and gives people a broad perspective on all walks of life.
The Central District is largely a residential area with small businesses located sparsely throughout.
